Are you looking for the avenue, information, knowledge, and connections you need to successfully partner with agencies located on Fort Belvoir, as well as with the primes who contract with these agencies?  Attend the February 6th Fort Belvoir Procurement Forum, the region’s foremost education and networking event for small businesses within the government contracting industry.

The Forum is a “must” event for small businesses that want a competitive edge in gaining contracting opportunities with Fort Belvoir’s procurement agencies. The day will offer attendees unsurpassed networking, the opportunity to develop relationships and explore business opportunities with agencies, and first rate education to guide you in fine-tuning your business plan.

Fort Belvoir provides logistical and administrative support to almost 100 diverse agencies. With planned expansion and upgrading, Fort Belvoir will be well equipped to absorb the approximately 19,000 civilian and military personnel expected to be transferred, over the next 5 years, under the Defense Department’s Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) program. You’ll have access to multiple exhibits from large and small government contractors, professional service companies and government agencies, and gain insight from keynote speakers.

The event will culminate in the opportunity for attendees to participate in one-on-one interviews that will allow them to:

  • Meet with OSDBU representatives offering insight on how best to navigate business opportunities in the Federal market place;
  • Discuss subcontracting opportunities with prime contractors doing business with agencies located on Fort Belvoir;
  • And present capabilities briefings to procurement officers representing an array of government agencies
