This year's Issues Fairfax 2008: Leading the Creative Economy: Is the Workforce Ready? will focus on developing the workforce for the creative economy. The forum will be presented in partnership by the Chamber, George Mason University and Fairfax County and hosted by Capital One. The program will bring together a broad cross section of over two hundred stakeholders from our county's business, government, community, and non-profit sectors to engage in a day-long symposium about market-based and public policy strategies for addressing the issue. The dais will explore the challenges imposed by our current policies and "real time" strategies businesses can use to impact their organizations.
